When you are chatting over IM or sending an e-mail containing link to Google Search Engine query, chances are that the links break up leading to ambiguity of the link receiver. You may use TinyURL.com for the purpose, but I have an easier way. Actually it’s not my way but its credit goes to MrCalzone who developed Gog.is service. Gog.is service works in a similar fashion as TinyURL.com with sole exception that is it is limited to Google Search Queries only.
How Gog.is works?
Gog.is, as already told, works in same fashion as TinyURL.com with exception of shortening only google search engine queries. You need to just add your search terms to http://gog.is/. For instance, search query for ‘web’ can be typed as http://gog.is/web.
If your search term consists of more than one word then separate each word with comma(,) and write it as http://gog.is/word1,word2. For example: If you want to search for ‘web news’, write as – http://gog.is/web,news
Gog.is service is a better option to TinyURL.com when working on communities like Twitter. The Gogis service will tell your readers, where actually they are going to land after flying with your links.
