How to Get Links From "Do Follow" Blogs
Before learning the way to get links through “do-follow” blogs, it is necessary to know what actually are “do-follow” blogs. “Do-follow” is a hyperlink attribute that tells the search engine crawlers or robots to pass credibility to outbound links. Most of the blogs do not use “do-follow” attribute as it is noted to increase spam comments. However, I am using do follow since months on AndDJournal and I feel that it is really needed to give credibility to bloggers who leave their valuable feedback on your blog. I have enabled “do-follow” attribute on this blog and you would be given credibility if you drop us some valuable comments.
To make links with a “do-follow” blog, follow these steps:
1. Search a “do-follow” blog in your niche. I would suggest you to use TheyFollow
2. Try to find those blogs which are indexed by Google. You may use SEO Quake for FireFox or SEO Quake for Internet Explorer for getting search engine details of the blogs.
3. Read the blog posts. It is necessary because do-follow blogs will not approve your comment if it is not relevant.
4. In the name field, enter the ‘keyword’ you would like to get link for.
5. In the link field, enter the hyperlink which you are optimizing.
6. In the comment section it is obvious to write some relevant comment or else your comment will not be approved.
Now you are done with your work. If your comment gets approval f the blog owner, you will get a link back for your keyword (word in the ‘name’ field).

Good idea for getting backlinks and don’t afraid of spams since nowadays many spam protection plugins avaialable and some Do Follow plugin will allow you to give do follow links selectively.

Quite useful post. Never thought of the difference commenting to ‘dofollow’ and ‘nofollow’ blogs makes, but I still comment on sites, if they have useful content, irrespective of what linking they use
