Scrub: Scan Incomplete Contact Lists In Windows Mobile Device

by Aditya on January 22, 2009

There are numerous fields in windows mobile device contact list that it makes all possible chances for missing one or the other.  You may not even be  aware that you have missed a part of contact information or your contact’s office number until you need it. To start searching through all the contacts to find out the incomplete ones will definitely sound impossible if you have huge contact list or friend following.

To relax your situation, a software named Scrub has been launched by Trinket Software Company. Scrub is a small Windows Mobile® utility to detect missing information such as home or work phone numbers, addresses, email addresses and birthdays from your contacts. It can quickly scan all the contacts on your device, and group them by the type of information missing.

This software utility takes less than 100kB and can be easily installed into any space inyour Windows Mobile Devices.  Once you have downloaded the .cab file, you can do a quick installation of the utility and  launch it whenver needed. Once instaled, without any heck or additional setup you just need to click on the Scrub button and start checking for missing or incomplete fields on your Windows Mobile Device. Further, the missing fields will be grouped according to their category or company with number of  contact that are incomplete.

The tool can also be used as an organizational tool – especially if you like to filter contacts by Category or Company. And as their website suggests, you may play it when you’re bored and have nothing better to do on your phone.

Now the best part, there are two things that deserves appreciation. Firstly, users can click on the categories to get all the incomplete contacts list and edit them directly. Secondly, it is free and can be downloaded without any formalities. You can just click on the download link and get it downloaded.
