File Sharing Made Easy – Use Zapr

You can share files in many ways. From sending file attachments to using rapidshare is some very common way. While e-mail and free rapidshare account can not support huge files, it becomes really hard to share a huge file in an easy way.

Zapr is a simple utility tool that will allow you to share huge files easily. It allow its users to share files in any format by creating hyperlinks pointing to files or folders located on your local disk securely.

All you need to do is signup for a free Zapr account by providing a username, a password and you e-mail address. Once registered, go to download section and download the utility and install it. Now logon into the utility by using your username and password. Now you are all set up to start sharing huge or small files directly from your local disk via hyperlinks.

The good thing about this service is that the recipient of your files or documents do not need to be a member of Zapr or have that Zapr utility. They can access the files just by clicking the links. However, since your file will reside in local disk, you will need to regenerate the hyperlink once the file or folder has been removed from its original location.

Zapr also provides you option to password protect your files or folders. You can password protect your files or folders to be shared. This password can then be communicated to the recipient of your files or folders. This will allow only target recipients to be able to view the files/folders being shared.

As bad follows goods, this utility is no exception to this rule. There is no way to browse and generate multiple links simultaneously in this utility. You will have to do them individually if you want to share huge files in bulk.

In spite of the drawback, this tool is very useful for those who would like to share huge files for safe retrieval by third party easily.
