Google Book Search's Mobile Version For iPhone and Android
One can easily do a Google Book Search and find the book in digital form for reading a part of it or the full book, depending on your state’s copyright laws. Google Book Search is one of the largest online book repositories with book counts exceeding 7 millions in form of digital copies and still growing. About 1.5 million books are available in public domain for US residents. This means that those 1.5 million books can be downloaded and read for free in spite of the fact that many of those are already out of print.
Google has now made a mobile version of Google Book Search which will be great for iPhone and Android users. In the mobile version of Google Book Search, the digital copies of book have been optimized for reading on small screen.
The mobile Google Book Search has to be used online. Unlike the full web version of Google Book Search, you can not download PDF copies of the public domain books for reading it offline. Another great ambiguity in this new version is that it uses Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology for extracting text from the page images where some words may be translated wrongly and displayed weirdly. However, you may tap on the text to see the original image for that section of text.
