To bet true, there are many free screen capturing softwares available like Greenshot or LightScreen, but FoxArc is the best I have found till now. I got a copy of it downloaded yesterday and worked with to be amazed seeing its simplicity and technical capabilities. FoxArc is a simple utility that simplifies your entire screen capturing process by providing many options and user-friendly interface.
As already mentioned, FoxArc has very simple yet powerful features. The basic interface consists of just four buttons namely – Get Region, Get Window, Get Desktop, Trap PrintSc. You can select to capture whole desktop by clicking “Get Desktop” button or you can select to capture the entire PC screen by clicking “Get Window” button. The most useful one is the ‘Get Region’ button that can be used to customize the capture region by simply controlling the keyboard or mouse for quick snapshot as per your need. Once activated ‘Get Region’ function, a coordinate similar to graph layout will be displayed and users can use mouse to stretch the axes of the coordinate and select the region to capture by clicking the left mouse button or by pressing space bar on keyboard, followed by a mouse drag to the specific snapshot region for quick snapshot. After completion, just click on ‘Export Picture’ and a window will pop up where you can select the destination folder for saving your picture. The snapshot taken can be saved in jpg, png, bmp, tiff, pcx and etc. formats.

I am this tool’s user. very nice tool with simple layout. I have never found a screen capturing tool better than this.
