Check and Clean your Hard Disk using Free Disk Usage Analyzer

If your hard disk is too full of space to work smoothly and frictionless and you do not intend to get a hard disk upgrade, then you must give Disk Usage Analyzer a trial. Disk Usage Analyzer is a free tool that analyzes your hard disk and empowers your eyes to see how much space can be saved on your hard disk and how much garbage can be cleaned up in your windows system.

You need to download and install this software. Once installed, you can run this utility to see all the directory capacity with free space for each directory. Now just click on “Cleanup” under “action” field and the utility will start scanning the entire directory to find how much space can be cleaned and saved by you. The execution may take time depending on your directory capacity. However, you can speed up the scanning time by analyzing only certain files by setting filters. You can also set to scan only those files that occupy large volume on your hard disk and leave the small size files untouched. Besides Disk Cleanup, there are more options available such as Windows components, Installed programs or System restore cleanup that helps to make your PC system work better than before.

I just ran this utility on my father’s laptop and found that my father’s laptop’s 3 GB of hard disk can be cleaned. The laptop was cluttered with much type of temporary files such as Temporary Internet Files, Microsoft Error Reporting Temporary Files, Office Setup Files and Compress old files.
