PDF is a file format known for its stability. It is especially useful for submitting presentations in an enterprise working so that the PDF file may not be modified. There are some professional softwares like FrameMaker (costing some serious bucks) that allows you to convert any file format to PDF. However, there is a software utility known as doPDF that can help you get your files in any format converted to PDF format for free.

doPDF is essentially a PDF printing application. The utility attaches itself to your PC’s printer list and allows you to convert any document to PDF format by using it from ‘Print’ option. The application is very easy to use. All you need to do is to download and install it.

For any Microsoft document you would like to convert to PDF format, just go to “File” in the menu-bar and select “Print” from the drop down menu. You will see a new printer named as “doPDF”. Select the new printer and after setting print options and folder where you would like to get converted file in PDF format, just press the ‘Print’ button.
