There are some instances where you send incomplete email to your recipients by accidentally pressing the ‘send’ button. This has happened to me many a times and it is really very embarrassing. But if you are a GMail user you can be saved from such an embarrassing situation now. The GMail labs in now offering you with a feature to undo sent e-mail within 5 seconds from the time when your email was send out.
Actually, when you press the send button, GMail takes 2 or 3 seconds processing time to deliver the messages to your recipient. Now, when you send an email, Google will generate an undo link within few seconds that you can use to undo sent e-mail messages within 5 seconds.

After five seconds time limit, the ‘undo’ link will disappear and you will not be able to undo sent messages. Now the email will be delivered to your recipient.
How to set “undo email” option:
1. Login to your inbox.
2. Click on “Settings” link present in the header of the login page.

3. Click on “Labs” under “setting tab”
4. Search for “Undo Send”

5. Click on ‘enable’.
6. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select “save changes”
The 5 second time limit is default and can not be changed to your wish. Hope that this feature of GMail will help you undo the send emails that you send accidentally.
