Promptu, the leader in voice recognition services for mobile phones, has released ShoutOUT. ShoutOUT is the first application software allowing voice to SMS conversion for iPhone users in USA.
ShoutOUT is basically a transcriber that can be used to dictate your text messages in normal language without the hassle to use touch screen keypad of iPhone to write your messages. With ShoutOUT, you can dictate your messages and see it written on your iPhone screen. You can also read the message yourself to check for errors and correct them, before sending the message to your intended recipient(s).
In today’s tech world, texting has become an integral part. According to the Gartner Group, there will have more than 2.5 trillion text messages sent by 2010.
The ShoutOUT application will be soon submitted to iTune/App connect. It is hoped that a non-English version of the application will be soon launched and distributed across Europe by one of the major wireless carrier.
