iPhone: Manage Photo Albums using SplashPhoto and Take quick notes using SplashNotes

by Aditya on April 27, 2009

splash-iphoneSplashData, the leader in providing productivity software for smartphones, has released SplashPhoto and SplashNotes for iPhone users. SplashNotes is a note taking and outlining application whereas SplashPhoto is a photo album manager for iPhones. The two applications work on iPhones and iPod Touch. They also offer wireless synchronization for Mac OS X and Windows OS via desktop applications that are available separately.

SplashNotes allows users to create outlines of desired size and complexity, attach photos and notes for quick recall and displays lists with checkboxes to turn outlines into task lists. The utility also allows users to create their outlines on a desktop computer and then synchronize it with their iPhone or iPod touch.

SplashPhoto, as already mentioned, is a mobile photo album manager. It is featured with a two-way synchronization function to free Windows PC or Mac OS X desktop version. This desktop application allows users to organize their images in personalized categories. Once your PC is synchronized to your iPhone or iPod touch, your images will be arranged accordingly on your iPod Touch or iPhone. Besides these somewhat regular features, the application allows users to download as well as upload images on Flickr and Picasa. Moreover, the images taken via your iPhone will be automatically geo-tagged so they can be mapped on Picasa and Flickr.

Here is what Morgan Slain, the CEO of SplashData said on these new applications release:

The innovative features of iPhone and iPod touch, like the Multi-Touch user interface and amazing display, have allowed us to create really practical apps that will be helpful to a wide range of users. We think SplashPhoto and SplashNotes are going to enable great communication and collaboration and we look forward to continuing to create mobile apps that make a difference.

SplashPhoto and SplashNotes are available for downloading from App Store at $4.99 each.
