image resized Use Image Resizer Powertoy Clone to resize images with a simple Right ClickImage resizing is a common task that most computer users, especially bloggers, do. If an image file is huge, you will face problems when dealing with them on internet. These are problems like large uploading time and consumption of resources. You may use a Graphic-editing software (like Photoshop, Corel, etc.) for resizing images according to your need. But if you prefer something that can skip the tedious steps and can do that resizing work quickly and easily, you may use Image Resizer Powertoy Clone.

Image Resizer Powertoy Clone is a shell extension which allows users to resize images with a simple right click. With this powertoy, you do not need to open an image in a Graphic-editing software, resize the image and save it; before you can see and use the resized image. Once you have installed the Image Resizer Powertoy Clone, you will notice a “Resize Picture” in your shortcut keys when you select an image and can do the resizing work right there (without any hassles).

For instance, you are working on a PowerPoint project and you need to insert an image into a slide. When you click Insert -> Photo, you will be prompted with a small Window to browse for the image. Right click to the selected image and you will see the “Resize Picture” command in the shortcut for you to do resizing work.

Once you click the “Resize Picture” command option, you will be allowed to resize the image according to your need. There are a few default sizes for users to choose from: small (640 x 480 pixels), medium (800 x 600 pixels), large (1024 x 768 pixels) and Handheld PC (240 x 320 pixels). You may also enter your preferred size, according to your need.

As soon as you select or specify a size for resizing, you will see a duplicated but resized copy of image next to the original image. In my case it is Sunset (Large), a large size of the image ‘Sunset’. This resized image is now ready to be used.

The original build supported only Windows XP but this new version supports both Windows XP and Windows Vista (32 bit and 64 bit). With Image Resizer Powertoy Clone, you can save lot of your time and speed up the resizing work.
