quietube videopage 300x236 Watch Web Videos in a blank background using QuietTubeI often watch video clips, trailers, songs and other videos on video sharing websites like YouTube or Vimeo. Nowadays, people can also watch streaming videos on their flat TV screen and this adds to the number of web video watchers. As a lover of web videos, I have a complain which is a complaint of many others too. The complaint is that the video sharing websites fill pretty significant space on the screen with ads, related videos and comments. This makes the actual video screen much small in proportion to the entire screen. Some users (like me) find these stuffs really annoying. If you have the same feeling, then the info about a web based service QuietTube , will sound music to your ears.

QuietTube is a web based service which allows watching web videos from YouTube and other such websites on a blank background without any other distractions. QuietTube is very easy to work with. All you need to do is visit the QuietTube website and drag the bookmarklet to your web browser’s toolbar. You will then notice a new bookmarklet in your toolbar. Now just visit a video sharing website (say YouTube) and click on the QuietTube button in the toolbar while playing the video. You will then notice that the video will start playing on an empty white background in a large screen. Technically, the QuietTube service imports the embed code and then embeds it on a blank page for its users.

QuietTube allows users to change the default white background with a black one, according to your preference. QuietTube, as of now, supports YouTube, Vimeo and Viddler videos. For those who prefer blank background for easy viewing of videos, they should definitely try QuietTube.
