Apple releases update 10.5.7 for its Mac OS X Leopard

Apple has released a new update for its Mac OS X Leopard – update 10.5.7. This update is 264 MB in size and is recommended for all 10.5.6 users. Apple promises to fix security issues with this update and add fixes to improve overall system performance, compatibility and stability. • Improves consistency with Parental Controls and application restrictions.

Printing

• Resolves an issue that may cause certain third-party printers to print to the incorrect paper tray.

• Non-admin user accounts can now be allowed to add and remove printers by enabling Parental Controls and selecting “Can administer printers”.
