Google launches Contact Manager to view and manage contacts

By Aditya On May 6, 2009 Under Tech News

google-logo1It is quite troublesome to log into your Gmail account and retrieve contact details when you are in need. Google has acknowledged this inconvenience faced by many thousands of Gmail users and has launched a new stand alone application called Google Contact.

This stand-alone app is still in beta and works with other services such as Picasa, Google docs, Google calendar, etc. You do not need to be a Gmail user in order to use this service. Anyone with a Google account can make use of this online contact management service.

Google Contact is capable of importing contacts from other sources such as HotMail, Yahoo Mail, Microsoft Outlook, etc. To enjoy this online contact management service, you can go to the standalone contact manager via the link here.
