If you are ever in a need to disable mouse and keyboard for a short time for some reasons, there is no other way easier than using Toddler Trap.
This tiny utility is useful if you want to clean your keyboard or mouse without shutting down your PC or when you want that your co-worker or children messing with your computer when you are away for some other work.
Once you have downloaded Toddler Trap, you just need to execute it and you will see your keyboard and mouse blocked and a Toddler Trap window. To unblock your mouse and keyboard again, you just need to close this window.

Just curious how you close the window with the keyboard and mouse disabled? Maybe I’m missing something.

@Narshada – Toddler Traps limits the mouse and keyboard to Toddler Trap app. It doesn’t actually blocks it. You can type anything in Toddler Trap interface and even close the app.
surely you mean when you DONT want your co-worker, etc messing with your computer?
To be true, ya I meant that same. However, I have a better idea – always lock your computer to avoid your co-workers messing with your computer.

Anyone know of an equivalent piece of software on OS X?
@simoncolijn It (http://tinyurl.com/da48za) doesn’t actually blocks your mouse and keyboard, but it limits it to Toddler Trap.
