Easiest Way to add Favicon to a Wordpress Blog

wordpress logo1 Easiest Way to add Favicon to a Wordpress BlogA favicon is a website icon associated with a particular website or a webpage. Having a favicon on your blog allows visitors to quickly identify your site in their bookmarks. If you are a Wordpress blog owner and want to add a favicon to your blog, here is the simplest way to do so.


In the tutorial below, we will be using ‘MaxBlogPress Favicon’ Wordpress plugin to add a favicon to your Wordpress blog easily. Proceed as mentioned below to quickly and easily add a favicon to your blog.

1. Login to your blog admin dashboard.

2. Click on ‘Add New‘ under ‘Plugins’ from the left sidebar.

3. Enter ‘MaxBlogPress Favicon‘ in the search box and enter.

4. Click on ‘Install’ beside ‘MaxBlogPress Favicon’ plugin details.

5. Activate the plugin

6. Click on ‘MBP Favicon‘ under settings from left sidebar.

7. Choose a favicon from the available list or enter UR of a favicon or upload a favicon from your computer.

8. Once a favicon is selected, click on ‘Save button’.

PS – A favicon should be in .ico format. You can use Free Online Favicon.ico Icon Generator to convert any image into a Favicon file.
