Why just 140 characters? Write more, add pics and embed video in your Tweets

I have already written about Tweetsaur.us which allows you to tweet over 140 characters by breaking tweet into fragments of 140 characters each. However, if you do not want to do only with words and would like to add a pic (or two) and/or embed a video and write well over many hundred words in your tweets, here is a simple solution.

Named as Twerbose, it is a web based Twitter tool that lets you post ‘large and extra large tweets’ to Twitter. Twerbose lets you add any number of characters, add pics (maximum 2 pics) and embed a YouTube video in your tweet, thus making your tweets large and extra large.

Using Twerbose is no trick. Just head to the Twerbose website and click on ‘Sign in with Twitter’ icon. Twerbose uses Twitter OAuth system for authorization and authentication of your Twitter account and so you do not need to enter your Twitter login credentials. Once you sign in by clicking on ‘Sign in with Twitter’ icon, you will be given an editor to write as many characters you want, a column to upload images from your computer (a maximum of two pics is allowed) and a column from where you can search and add a YouTube video. Once you have made your tweet (by writing and/or adding pics and/or uploading video), added tags and set privacy, click on ‘Submit this large Tweet’ button to let Twerbose post it on Twitter.

Twerbose then takes around 117 characters of your tweet and then adds a Twerbose URL to the rest part of your tweet.

Here is what the tweet I created looked like in my Twitter profile:

Your tweet readers can click on the link to visit a Twerbose page to read the content you posted, watch the video you embedded, see the pics you uploaded and add their own comments.
