If you are a new photographer, then you should be already knowing the importance of EXIF data on captured photos. EXIF data is nothing but a piece of information that tells creation date of the image, creation time, digital camera settings while taking the image, image editing software used and location where the image was taken, etc. These data can be of great help when improving your skill sets especially when you are playing a bit lot with manual settings.
There are number of software applications available in the market that lets you see the EXIF data on captured images. But Free Photo Viewer is the only free solution I have seen so far. Besides being free, it is significantly lightweight.
For the start, just download and install Free Photo Viewer. Launch it and you will see an explorer-like interface. Now browse for a folder that consists of captured images. You will be seeing the images in preview mode. Single click on any image will show all the EXIF data inclusive of the date and time of the photo being taken, camera model, Exposure time, ISO speed, Lens focal length, Shutter speed, White Balance, Metering Mode and much more.

Besides, it also displays second level details such as the Optical Zoom Step, Flash bias, Firmware version and even camera serial number. This information proves helpful when you are playing with a DSLR camera in manual mode and wonder what settings to choose when taking a particular sort of photograph.
Free Photo Viewer consumes just around 1.2MB of your hard disk space and can fit into any constraint of your hard disk memory. This utility is free for download and works great for all Windows systems.
Download Free Photo Viewer by visiting here.
