Chir.ps makes it easy to add voice to your tweets

Chir.ps is a web-based application which allows you to add voice to your tweets. It lets you add audio link to your Twitter updates. This audio link can be embedded in your tweet either by recording it or by using a track already present on your computer.

Working with Chir.ps is extremely simple. All you need to do is just head to the Chir.ps website and click on the record button. Once you have recorded an audio, you can enter 120 characters for the description of your audio tweet. Alternatively, instead of recording, you can also upload a file (mp3, wav, wma, acc, ogg file formats supported). Once done, give your Twitter login credentials to Chir.ps. That’s it. Soon a tweet with a link to the audio file will be posted on your Twitter profile. Your friends can just click on the link to listen the audio. They can also download it if it interests them.

There is also a facility to obtain a Chir.ps email address where you can directly Tweet an audio file by sending it to this email address from your email account. The subject of your email will become the text attached to the audio tweet.
