Subtitles are of great help when watching a foreign movie. It lets you understand the movie better. Most of the movies nowadays come with subtitles for audience’s convenience. However, these subtitles may be sometime in a language that you don’t understand. In such a case, you need to take help of some extra applications and spend a little time translating subtitles into a language you understand.

In this post, today we will be seeing two of the cool apps that can help you translate movie subtitles to a language you understand. The first one on our list is ‘Subtitles Translation Wizard’ and the second one being the ‘Open Subtitle Translator’ app.

Subtitles Translation Wizard

This is an excellent tool that performs srt translation, sub (MicroDVD format) translation, Sami (.smi) translation, SubViewer (.SUB) translation and SubViewer 2.0 translation. With its extremely user-friendly interface, translating subtitles is a work of few clicks. Besides translating subtitles, the application also lets you add subtitles to movies that do not already have subtitles.

This is another great app for translating subtitles of a movie. It works almost same as Subtitles Translation Wizard except for the fact that this software is absolutely free. This subtitle translator is developed in JAVA and supports multiple platforms.

Subtitle translator works great when one wants to translate any language in any other form. It don't gives you the perfect result but still 80% of your work is done. Even one can do editing with this translator.
