People using Gmail Chat box for chatting can easily change their status to invisible, but if you are using GTalk, then you cannot avail that feature. However, there is still a way to appear invisible by using GTalk and that is as simple as using GTalk Labs Edition instead of the regular version.
So if you are hearing GTalk Labs Edition for the first time, then you may be curious to know about the differences between this version and the regular version of GTalk. Well, there are a load of differences between the regular GTalk and GTalk Labs Edition. The lab edition features group chats, smilies, tabbed chat box and a functionality to appear invisible to others by simply switching your status to invisible.
