To download videos from Vimeo, you do not need to use any vide downloader app. Vimeo allows video download from its own website. To download a video from Vimeo.com, proceed as follows:
1. Go to Vimeo.com
2. Register a basic account (if you do not already have one). | Registration Link
Confirm your basic account by clicking on the activation link that was sent to you by email.
3. Login to your account if you are not already logged in.
4. Select the video from the Vimeo video directory.
(I am selecting Commute video)
5. Click on the video title embedded at the top left corner of the video box.
6. You will be taken to the video page.
7. Scroll down the page and you will see a “Downloads Section”.
8. Click on the download link and the download process will start.
You can only download 5 videos a day from Vimeo free basic account. If you are required to download more than 5 videos a day, you should consider switching over to a Pro account.
