I have already written about FotoSketcher, an app to convert any image into a beautiful painting, sketching or drawing. The only drawback in the app was that it had to be downloaded for use and most people are unwilling to download apps that they won’t be using on a regular basis. To make things easier, here is Psykopaint, a web app for converting photos into paintings.
No registration is required to use Psykopaint. Just got to the Psykopaint website, upload a photo and start converting it to a painting. Now unlike the automatic conversion as offered by FotoSketcher, Psykopaint allows you to customize your painting by use of various types of brushes. Once you have done the painting work, you can download the work in .PNG format.
