WordPress version 2.8.5 was released a few days back. This major release aimed at providing more advanced security to WordPress blogs. With that upgrade being rolled out in the public, WordPress developers are now getting ready for next major release of WordPress, version 2.9.
The first beta version of WordPress 2.9 has been already made available to the WordPress testers. The guys at Inexoravel.org have released a video casting the features of WordPress 2.9. Though the video is in Portuguese language, it is good enough to show us the features of this new WordPress release.
