How to: Update Twitter from Google Wave account

Google Wave is talk of the town. Be it Twitter or FaceBook or any other social media website, there is a whole lot of buzz about this new application that Google rolled out a few weeks back. Only a few of the interested users were given Google Wave invites for the limited beta while rest did not get an opportunity to test this new invention. For those that got an opportunity to ride this wave, here is a cool Twitter tip for them.

In this post, we will see how we can update our Twitter status from our shiny Google wave account. So without any further delays, let’s get started.

Here is a step-by-steps procedure to update Twitter from your Google wave account:

Pace 1: Login to your Google Wave account

Pace 2: Add tweety-wave@appspot.com as a new contact in your Google Wave

Pace 3: Click the tweety-wave@appspot.com on your contacts and start a ‘New Wave’.

Pace 4: A Pop-up Window will appear asking you to authenticate your Twitter account. Check to make sure that pop-ups are not blocked and if they are, unblock them.

Pace 5: Authenticate you Twitter account by keying in your Twitter login credentials.

Pace 6: Once you authenticate, you will see a ‘What are you doing now?’ text box. Enter your status/tweet in this box and click update.

Pace 7: Your tweet will go live on your Twitter profile.
