Google Maps is a fantastic app from Google which lets you browse through maps of almost all places of the world. However, saving Google Maps as images is no easy task to do. You need to use Print Screen or an image capture utility or an image capture browser add-on for taking a snapshot of the map and saving it. So the next time you happen to save a Google Map as image, try Google Maps Server to do the task easily and to get some flexibility.
Google Maps Saver is a portable app of around 400 kB in size. It has a browser of its own which lets you browse Google Maps and save Google Maps as images easily. As of the flexibility, you can save image in various resolutions and in various formats like JPEG, PNG-8, PNG-24, BMP or Targa files. Supported Resolutions include QVGA, VGA, iPhone, PAl, NTSC, SVGA, XGA, HD 720, HD 1080, Big – 5000 x 5000 & 8000 x 8000, Huge – 10000 x 10000 & 12000 x 12000 and custom resolution as well.

The images saved using Google Maps Saver have a watermark on them. To remove the watermark, click the ‘About’ link in the top right corner and check the box that asks to accept terms and conditions.
Google Maps Server is compatible on Windows XP, 2000, Vista and Windows 7.

Um, pretty sure it’s called Google Maps SAVER, not server. One, because it saves maps and is not a server of any kind…and two because that’s what it says in your picture.
To make mistakes is a human nature and I proved that I was a real one.
