Backing up important data is a good option when you do not want to lose data due to power failure or other such miss-happenings. Most computer users feel data backup is quite a time consuming process and hence do not go for it on a regular basis. However, Idle Backup is a portable app that does this boring and time-consuming task of backing up files in the background without hindering your daily work.

Idle Backup does not require installation and can silently perform backup of your data on Hard Disk Drive, external HDD, USB drives or on a network computer. The backup is performed by zip compressing files. This considerably reduces the space occupied by backup data on your backup drive thereby saving some of your precious data storage capacity.
