If you are on a slow speed Internet connection, then an easy way to load webpages faster is by switching off Flash and pictures on webpages. Flash & Pictures Switcher is a free to use software which enables us to control the display of pictures and flash items on a web page. Besides reducing the load time of webpages, this utility also improves the readability of pages.
Basically, this utility is like an add-on for Internet Explorer. A green button is placed on Internet Explorer toolbar which allows you to switch off or turn on flash and pictures on a web page. You can simply toggle between ‘display’ and ‘not display’ pictures and flash items.
Flash & Pictures Switcher works on all versions of Internet Explorer released after Internet Explorer 4.0. I’m testing it on windows vista and Internet Explorer 8 and it seems to work fine.
