Create Goo.gl short URLs using Goo.gl Lite FireFox add-on

I wrote about Google’s URL shortener – Goo.gl – a few days back and I also did mention that only way to use it (as of now) is by use of Google toolbar or Google FeedBurner. However, I came across a nice little FireFox add-on that lets you use Google’s URL shortener without having you to install Google toolbar.

Named as Goo.gl Lite, it is a FireFox add-on that eliminates the need to create Goo.gl short URLs by using Google toolbar or FeedBurner. Just add the add-on to your FireFox by clicking the “Add to FireFox button” on the add-on webpage. Since the add-on is in experimental stage, you need to select “Let me install this experimental add-on” checkbox before you can use it. Once installed, you will be able to create Goo.gl of a webpage by clicking the Goo.gl Lite button.
