How to: Extract Bing Background Images and Cycle them on Desktop

Bing.com has a really cool and interesting feature that is particularly enjoyed by some of its users like me. The feature here in talk, is the interactive and ever-changing background images that it displays on the Bing.com homepage.

For those Bing.com users who like this feature, here is a Windows app that should be cherished by you. Named as Bing4Free, it is an application that downloads Bing.com background images to your PC and turns them into a wallpaper slideshow for your desktop.

It is important to note that the images downloaded from Bing are low-resolution graphics (958×512). These may look pretty descent when stretched on a small screen but they do really not look well when stretched on 1680×1050 desktop display. Therefore, it is suggested not to stretch the images when using on a desktop display. Instead, make them centered and it will look good enough.

Bing4Free has a well defined user-interface where you can customize its settings. You can choose how often you would like to check for new images on Bing, the delay between images switching, how far back you want to search and where on your PC will be the downloaded images installed.
