Complaints are stupid! Apple iPad is a market-changing revolution

by Aditya on January 30, 2010

I know that there have already been a whole lot of talks about the new Apple iPad. I am also aware of the fact that your email inbox, RSS reader and your twitter home has been filled with loads of updates which tear down the new baby in the Apple family. I, however, have a different take. I really believe that the new Apple iPad is sure to change the market as other Apple products have done in the past.

If we talk about past, we will soon begin realizing that Apple is known for changing the market. With the release of iPod Touch and iPhone(s), we suddenly saw a rapid change in the mobile manufacturing industry. Adding to this quickness, LG released their ‘Voyager’, Samsung released their ‘Instinct’, HTC started manufacturing touch-screen phones and the Google came up with their G1. Taking all this into account and understanding the power of Apple developments in changing the market, it can be clearly seen that Apple iPad is definitely a revolutionary step.

With the gradual changes and improvements in the iPhone, there has been an increase in usage of the iPhone for reading EBooks, sending and receiving e-mails, watching movies and video gaming.

Killing Complaints about Apple iPad

I was researching Google for articles on the new Apple iPad and I came up with several articles charging down the new Apple iPad. And honestly, I can see that I can kill most of the complaints that threaten this newborn tech revolution.

Complaint number one: No USB ports

Dear people and my dear tech enthusiasts; I believe no one will agree with this complaint. You must realize that this is not a computer. If you need USB ports, probably you should go and get yourself a PC.

Complaint number two: Lacks camera

Yes, this is perhaps the one thing that I wanted. However, it is not the only release of Apple iPad. The second generation of its release will no doubt include a camera (it’s just a prediction ofcourse). And further, lacking a camera should definitely not be a reason why this new release sucks.

Complaint number three: Lacks memory card slots

This is another pretty interesting complaint that I found. I believe that iPad comes with ample flash memory on-board. But in case you need to have more, you may spend extra $100 or $200 to have that surplus pace. And above all, if this space is so very necessary for you, then save it up for what you need.

Complaint number four: Provides no proper Synchronizing options

I believe that it is not a device issue. It is a software issue. The guys at Apple need to incorporate iPad accounts in iTunes so each iPad user may decide what all data goes in their Apple iPad. Further, they may possibly allow a drag-and-drop feature for transferring items from a computer to the Apple iPad.

Complaint number five: Does not allow Multitasking

Yes, it is indeed an issue but it is the same issue as that the iPhone has. You can’t do two things at a time. While there are options to save your work but still it is impossible to write an e-mail and update your Twitter status at the same time. It is needed that you close your application before you open the other one. And if you’re closing an application, then you are temporarily ending the process. I, however, assume that music can still be played on the Apple iPad while you browse your favorite websites.

Complaint number six: iPad sounds horrible

What? iPad? That’s okay though. We have all heard and read and even created the jokes about this thing. However I believe that there can be a more acceptable name. Something like – iTablet (if the ‘I’ is very essential) or KindleKiller (if they can do away with that ‘I’) would be better.

With so much of buzz and heat and obviously for Apple’s brand value, I predict that Apple iPad is surely going to be a hit. Leave your comments and suggestions in the comment box below.

Great review, but i noticed that nothing was mentioned about the complaint on iPad’s lack of Flash Animation support. I would really love to see your review about this complaint.

All the best

Thanks for the prompt reply, will surely stay tuned for the updates. Anyways, do you think iPad really did revolutionize the e-readers/tablet? my apologies i can’t seem to categorize ipad, maybe a new category for a new device looms ahead? Let also take Amazon’s Kindle into consideration, being the first one to be launched. Now the question is, which product really did really revolutionize the market?
