USB flash drives are commonly being used today. The usage has become so common that we need to plug and unplug these devices quite very often. The normal way to remove an external hardware on a Windows operating system is too very lengthy. You need to click on “safely remove hardware” button on the system tray to select a USB flash drive and stop the device before it can be unplugged. Instead of going this cumbersome way, you can use USBDiskEjector.

USBDiskEjector is basically a replacement of the troublesome non value-added steps that you need to perform before you can unplug a USB flash drive from your Windows system. It provides you a simpler way to stop a hardware device. You can simply double-click on a device name or select a device and press ‘Enter’ button to stop the hardware device.

USBDiskEjector is a standalone application and it does not require any installation. Simply download the archive and extract the.EXE file. Double-click the executable file and the utility will launch with a simple interface displaying all the removable hardware that are plugged in the USB drive of your PC. When you want to unplug an external hardware, just double-click or select a hardware you wish to be removed and press enter.

The biggest advantage of using this utility is that it is stays on the system tray of your windows and can be activated any time by double-clicking on the icon. The utility is less than 500kB in size and can fit into any constraint of your hard disk.

The number of steps for ejecting the USB key drive remains the same anyways, right? Click on system tray icon, choose device to stop, double click on it.
