WhoReadMe: Get notified when recipients read your emails

You may sometimes need to send out some important e-mails. While it is easy to send out an e-mail, it is hard to know whether the recipient ever looked at your e-mail or it just went unnoticed by the recipient. Recently, I discovered a fantastic web service which tracks your sent e-mails and notifies you when the recipient opens your e-mail.

Named as WhoReadMe, it is a free Web-based service which lets you link your e-mail account with it and allows you to send e-mails that can be tracked. Using this web service is pretty easy and very straightforward. You can simply go to the webpage and complete the registration process to begin sending out e-mails that can be tracked.

Once you have registered and confirmed your e-mail, you can log into your WhoReadMe account and click on ‘send e-mail’ button to send out e-mails. You can enter your display name and choose from one of your associated e-mails. This e-mail would be visible to the recipient as sender’s e-mail. WhoReadMe also allows you an option to add attachments and even track them.

Once you have filled out the necessary details of your e-mail and attached the necessary files, you can click on the send button to send it. Once the recipient opens your e-mail, you will get an e-mail from WhoReadMe which will contain the necessary details about when your e-mail was opened, the time your attachments were downloaded, the IP from which your e-mail was accessed, etc.
