PartyBooth: Turn your Webcam into a perfect Social Media Photo booth

If you are a social media enthusiast and you wish to have a photo booth running at your birthday party or any such parties, then here is a perfect app for you. I recently came across PartyBooth, an application that turns your web cam into a photo booth kiosk.

It is a desktop application which provides you with the convenience to take photos by simply walking up to the computer and pressing the ‘space bar’ on the computer keyboard. Having done the two steps, just pose for pictures and the automated process will do the rest. The application further allows you to customise graphics and add borders or banners on the photo prints.

Besides, the application has inbuilt social media capabilities. It comes with options to upload your photos directly to your Facebook account, img.ly, MobyPicture, Posterous, TweetPhoto,Twitgoo, TwitPic, twitrpix, TwitSnaps, and tumblr.

PartyBooth is available for Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X and Linux. This application is not free and it does cost $38. However, this is far less expensive than renting a photo booth for a party. The application, however, comes with a ten-day trial for you to review it yourself.
