I recently came across a very interesting utility which lets you snip any part of a website or a web page and lets you turn that part into a desktop widget. For instance, you can have a desktop widget containing only the search box of Google.com on your desktop. How easy would this make for you to perform search using the search capabilities of Google.com right from your desktop! Besides having a search box on your desktop, you may also have a widget showing recent articles from your favourite blogs or for any other purpose that you can think of.
