Google Reader now creates custom feeds for websites without RSS
A recent addition to Google Reader’s features is its capability to create/generate custom feeds for websites that do not offer feed subscription. For instance, BlogAds.com is a static page which does not allow feed subscription. In case you would like to subscribe to the site’s changes, Google Reader now provides you ability to create a custom feed for the website and allows you to keep up with any new developments that the website will see in future.

Feedburner is a popular feed aggregator that can be well used to promote and publicize your blog. Feedburner provides an option to show of your feeds by using a ‘feed count’ chicklet. This chicklet can be of two types. One which is static showing number of ‘readers’ and one which is animated showing number of ‘readers via feed’. Feedburner provides options for customising color of text and chicklet of this tool but it does not provide any option to change the text – ‘readers’. In this tutorial, we will learn how to change the text of this ‘feed count chicklet’. Let’s get started.
1. Login to your feedburner account.
2. Click on your feed name.
3. Click on Publicize tab present in the top navigations of the page.
4. Click on “Feed Count” link present in left side bar.
5. Choose the type of ‘feed count’ you want (static or animated) and activate this service (if you have not already done). Now, you will get a code to paste in your website. This code will look like this-

Increase Your Blog RSS Feed Subscribers:
Have you got a blog ready with RSS subscription facility? Is your RSS manager feedburner? If these two questions were answered yes by you, then I have a cool way to increase your subscribers by at least 10% overnight.
If you login to FeedBurner account, you will see the number of your subscribers who have subscribed you via e-mail. By clicking on “See more about your subscribers” link, you will be shown your subscribers’ e-mail addresses and their status. Status can either be ‘verified’ or ‘unverified’. Now, you can export the complete list of subscribed e-mails and download it in CSV format.
