Rollip: A quick and simple app to create Polaroid pictures

While just hanging out on digg, I found a cool web app called Rollip. It is a web 2.0 app that adds some Polaroid effects to any of your pictures and lets you create a Polaroid picture in just a few seconds.

Working with Rollip is pretty easy and super fast. All you need to have is an image ready for conversion into a Polaroid picture. Go to the Rollip website and choose an effect. Now just upload a photo and you are done. The picture will be uploaded to their servers, converted and a link to share and download the photo will be given to you.

Checking Fake Images: Check whether an image is original via JPEGsnoop

If you would like to test for the originality of an image, you can use software named as JPEGsnoop. JPEGsnoop is a software that analyzes images to check whether the images have been edited before.

JPEGsnoop decodes the inner details of JPEG or AVI files to determine whether the image has been edited or not. The decoding of inner details includes matching of the signature stored in its internal database for the camera model used to capture the image against large number of editing signatures. The compression signature if matches with Photoshop, then in most case the image has been edited.
