<p>Google treat search queries as case-insensitive. Most of people do not face any problem as such but there are many others who are often in trouble because of it. For instance, try searching for &#8216;Bill&#8217; and &#8216;bill&#8217; on Google. They both have same spelling but they have completely different meanings as &#8216;Bill&#8217; refers to Bill Gates (a person) and &#8216;bill&#8217; means an invoice. Not to be fortunate enough, you will get the same results for both <a href="http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&amp;q=bill&amp;btnG=Google+Search&amp;meta=">search queries</a>.<br />
<span class="fullpost"><br />
Another instance can be of Polish(of Poland) and polish(shine). Many such words can be found <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capitonym">here</a> that can really mean a huge difference when searched for. So, is there any way to perform case sensitive query with Google. To be true, there is none so far known to me. However, there is still a way. I know a web based tool that can do that for you. This tool is called <a href="http://case-sensitive-search.appspot.com/">&#8216;Case Sensitive Google search&#8217;</a> developed by an unknown.</span><br />
<span id="more-36"></span><br />
It is a web based tool that will help you conduct case sensitive searches and that too, by using the most competent Google search engine. It filters out the Google search query for your entered text and then displays the ones that matches the case of your query.</p>
<p>Here is how &#8216;Bill&#8217; and &#8216;bill&#8217; appears when searched though <a href="http://case-sensitive-search.appspot.com/">Case Sensitive Google search engine</a>:</p>
<p><a href="http://techravings.info/2009/01/how-to-perform-case-sensitive-search.html" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 178px;" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3334/3188090056_bbed0db491.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br />
<span class="fullpost"><span style="font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">So, what you think?</span></span></p>
<p>Did you like this post<a id="AdBriteInlineAd_post" style="background: transparent url(http://files.adbrite.com/mb/images/green-double-underline-006600.gif) repeat-x scroll center bottom; cursor: pointer; color: #006600; text-decoration: none; -moz-background-clip: -moz-initial; -moz-background-origin: -moz-initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: -moz-initial; margin-bottom: -2px; padding-bottom: 2px;" name="AdBriteInlineAd_post" target="_top"></a> or you feel it wasn&#8217;t that good? Express your mind to me by leaving a comment.<br />
